Every see a "~" filename??
A mysterious file, and the whole name is:
~ recently appeared in my C:\ directory and appears to contain Outlook Express email address info. Naturally, I immediately did the anti virus and Spybot scans, which came up clean. Could this just be a "temp" file that didn't get wiped, or do you think it's more sinister? Everything has been working OK. Thanks, TwoRails |

Probably just a temp file, though it is a curious one. I'd delete it.

Outlook Express Update Q330994 is responsible for this. Microsoft is working on a fix.
