Runtime error help needed

Yes i would like to know how to get rid of this Fu**Ing runtime error? I know its caused by a ruined, misplaced, or just messed up .dll but i would like to know how to fix it thanks?

What program are you running when this happens? Does it occur when you are doing something or at random? What OS are you using?

well it just appears out of no where when i am just sittin there. my friend has told me its caused from a dll but i have no clue how to fix it and i am also running windows xp?

So, when there are no programs open at all, the error message just comes up?

Have you done a virus scan and scanned for trojans?

i highly doubt its a trojan. its from A MISSING DLL and i still do not know how to recover or what not to that file? its not a virus its just some minor problem occuring with this file and i would like to know if there is a link or somethign to some web site to download another file of whatever im missing?

Runtime errors can be caused by many things. What makes you so sure that it is a missing DLL?

is this all the info you get runtime error 5 at 00408286 do you not get a detailes button to click or program or dll file name at the top of the error box
