How do I get rid of this message ?

When I turned on my PC today I got this message ( This application has failded to start because MMVCP70.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problum ) how do I fix this HELP !! Thanks.

Have you uninstalled anything lately? If so, look under msconfig/startup and see if it is checked to startup at boot, if so, just uncheck it.

Yes I did, yesterday I uninstalled Music match. So I did what you said and I didn't see any box that said MUSIC MATCH.

You might try downloading and running Registry Healer. The demo version may not correct your problem tho. I use the full version $20 and run it after every install and uninstall to keep registry in order. works great. Here's a link

I would try reinstalling Music match and see if the problem disappears

If you do a search online for MMVCP70.dll you can usually find it. I have had to find .dll files like that. Also, if you have another computer in your house (or one readily availible) with the same OS, do a search for the dll.

MMVCP70.dll is part of musicmatch update. in msconfig it probably is autoupdate or something similar. You could try reinstallin musicmatch and then uninstalling.
