os start up choice unwanted

I´ve just cancelled an XP reinstallation half way through and now I get 2 options at boot - the good os and the option to start XP set up. how can i get rid of that option? if I don´t select the first it automatically starts up the installation process.
Thanks

you can edit your boot.ini file located in C:\ also this is a hidden file, so you need to uncheck the hidden files line in Start > Settings > Folder options.
