Pissed Wink2 sp4 kills

While updating the computers on campus, we have had quite a few that, after sp4 was installed, started constantly rebooting as soon as we got to the login screen. For many of these, removing the sp4 solved the problem. For the remaining computers with the problem, we booted into safe mode, but sp4 was not listed. Any suggestions on how to remove sp4 or other solutions to solve the constant rebooting would be greatly appreciated. We really don't want to have to reformat the machines.

If you did not elect to save old system files during the upgrade, you cannot remove sp4. If you did elect to save old system files, it should be listed in add / remove programs. I installed sp4 on two of my boxes that are running 2K; no problems at all.

Did you use the entire sp or the express setup? I have had problems in the past with express setup.

We did archive the old files, and we did not use the express setup.

SPK4

I have installed it on 4 machines and haven't had any problems. I downloaded the network version and burned it on a CD, and (touch wood) it seems to work perfectly.
