SLOW shutdown
All of the suddem my system is taking 30 seconds to shut down where b4 it took like 12 sec. i havent really installed any major software except Mcaffe Virus Scan Pro 7.02 and after that i defragged it. there is NO viruses too.
Althon XP 2000+ Asus A7V333 512MB PC2100 DDR RAM 60GB HD - 30GB free XP Professional with SP1 (Leagel with my companys code)(not the FCKGW-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx one its a 100% legeal code) whats up with this? |

Does McAfee have a "check drives on shutdown" option or something similar? If so try disabling that to see if it helps. If that's not it, still look carefully through the options of the program to see whether something else could be the culprit. HTH

Now i uninstalled Mcafee and installed PC-cillen 2003 and now it takes longer and it doesnt hibernate either.
