I'm having trouble setting up my new Windows XP system. You see, I have only 2 accounts setup on my computer. 1 for me and a Guest account for everyone else. Here is the problem. I made the Guest Account a Power User so whoever is in the Guest Account is able to use alot of the programs on the computer. Is there another way similar to the Power User group but unables the user to install/delete programs but still use them and also save documents?
The Guest account can use alot of the programs on the hard drive with the OS on it but sometimes the guest account can't play games that are stored on the second hard drive. Why is this and how can it be resolved? Thanks and I hope you take your important time to try and help me out. |

I would just create another account name which you could call Guest or whatever you want. This way you will be able to give it administrator rights The real guest account is limited to what you can and can't do. Another option is to put a shortcut to your second harddrive in your guest account. It works for me
