how can i change my login name on my computer?

im using win xp, and i need to know how to change my user name. i think its the one i put in at the begining of the os instalation. im not talking about the user profile name. theres another one. when i go to documents and settings it wont let me into it either. it lets me into my screen name and all others except for this one. i also want to rename the folder for my sn but it says its a system file and cant be moved or renamed. is there any way to edit the names on these files?

Control panel > user accounts > select user > "Change my name"

That should do it.

You need to log on as Administrator with the password you entered during setup with XP PRO or with XP Home the Password is blank by default. At the login Screen hit Ctrl, Alt, Del twice and this will give you the option to log on as the Admin, if no password was set then leave the password box blank and hit enter.

i am already set as the admin. im not talking about my welcome screen name. i know how to change that. under documents and settings there are these screen names:
All Users
All Users. WINDOWS
Jon
Jons

the one thats "Jon" i cant get into. i think i registered it to jon or something, and then i couldnt use jon as my login name so i had to make it jons, or something like that. then i went in and changed my login name to jon from useraccounts, and it worked, but the file in documents and settings is still the same-Jons- and the one that says jon canot be accesed. it says the file is empty when i hold the mouse over it. so i guess its not being used but if so i want to see if i can change the one i use to jon and just erase the one that isnt doing anything. i never had this problem before, but then again i never had a retail os install before. they've always been a bundle with a computer. any help would be appreciated. thanx for the quick replies
