avi to dvd
will I get the same answer to video and audio questions in the windows XP section of this forum or should I use the video forum. Secondly when I convert an avi file to dvd(mpg) format I get three files that appear in the folder I've placed the newly converted mpg files. They are as follows.....Movie Title.m2v,Movie Title.mpa, and Movie Title.mpg(Movie Title is being used as an example of any movie). Do I need all these files for each movie so I can not have a messy movie folder?

No you don't need them all. It depends on your authoring software. If it wants elementary streams, you gotta load m2v and mpa into it. If it wants muxed stream, load the mpg file.
MPG file is just the muxed M2V and MPA RJ
