Win 2000 install, stuck!!
while trying to install Win 2000 on a computer I come upon this message:
"File setupdd.sys could not be loaded. The error code is 7." I cannot procede any further than this and I'm stuck for solutions. Any help would greatly appreciated.

I typed your error message into the Microsoft help knowledge base and got the following list :http://support.microsoft.com/search/...y=Windows+2000
I think you should run the manufacturer's diagnostic on that drive and then , if it passes, zero it out and install 2k afterward. |
