How can i uninstall windows xp pro full version off of my cpu?
Its not under add remove programs how can i take it off? |

just delete the partition with fdisk, and reformat
|

What do you want to do? Install another OS? Which one? Correct answer to your request depends on what you want to do. i.e. XP uses NTFS and if you want to go to a WIN98 kernel then the NTFS partition needs to be removed and the entire drive restored to FAT32.
Not that hard, but it helps if we know exactly what you are trying to accomplish. Chas

i put in the windows xp home disk and i removed the partition
and then i formatted. Thanks for your help Could you please help me with a problem i have with my games. When i try to play one of my games like warcraft 3 i click on it it runs but then it minimizes it to the taskbar i click on it again and it does the same thing this happens with all my games |

yes
why did you give up xp-pro for xp-home they are basicly the same except for some extra domane stuff. but then again maby there is another good reason to do it, and we won't go into that. anyway congrats and the secucess |

Yeah all you have to do is run FDISK in XP and remove the partition, and when you run setup for an OS, it will automaticly format, partition, and install.
But you can do that manually with XP setup. I'm sure that is what you did. |

ok
now I am really confused, if xp-pro was crashing on you, what makes you think xp-home will not do the same thing, I just don't understand this because they are really the same thing except for the networking stuff extra in the pro version. hopefully you could enlighten me on your thoughts on this please |

What happend was somebody fixed my cpu and installed pro
and he installed all this other junk and pro kept crashing he didnt even give me a disk for pro. I took it off and went ahead and installed my copy of home |

(i forgot to add this) The day i got it back it was locking up so
much. So i decided too take it off and install XP Home that came in the mail that day |
