loading new o/s
I recently got a lap top from my friend. It is windows nt workstation version 4.0. When I turn it on I get an error. I get an error message saying that I am disconected from the server. After that a sign in screen shows up but I can't get past it. I can't cancel out of it or sign in as guest or administrator.
i decided that i need to install a new operating system. but i have a problem. i dont know how i can get into a dos prompt in order to fdisk the hard drive. does anyone know how i can get into a dos prompt with out knowing the password? thanks michael? |

I am sorry to say that the information you knead to access the laptop wood be braking the rules of the forum as it wood give people with stolen laptops a way to access them if your friend has not got the password then you must ask where thy got the computer from and why they have not got the password
