I have a problem when I turn on my computer.I get this message.Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt System32\drivers\NTFS. sys. I put in my WIN xp cd and it boots up.I am using this computer now typing this message.But my screen is not at high resolution It almost looks like it would in safe mode.The main board is an ASUS A7V 333.Processor is AMD XP 2100 ,I also have an ati all in wonder video card Could this be a bad monitor or monitor driver?Any help from would be appreciated very much.

try this : Run chkdsk /r to detect and resolve any file system structural damage.

if that don't work you could also do a repaire, or even a restore
