Just purchase a used computer. Obviously WinXP was installed as an upgrade, as when you intially bootup, you have the option of WinXp or Windows, with XP the default. Not a problem, but a pain. I've seen this before, and know you can eliminate this selection, but can anyone remember how??

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windowsl" /fastdetect note it should be the one with out XP in it. |
