Userinit.exe error msg at login
When I turn on my computer, after it loads XP I get an error message: userinit.exe "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive R:"(which is my CD-ROM). I'm givien options of cancel, try again, and continue. All result in nothing happening.
This began just after loading Pinnacle Studio Deluxe software. Any way to get rid of? Thx.

Have you tried putting "Pinnacle Studio Deluxe software" cd in the drive?

hehe, ya that's why this is aggravating. No joy there in solving tho. If the next time it's out, msg shows again.
I finally found reference to this problem in the MS article database. Their solution: put a disk (any disk) in the drive... Kind of an annoyance I suppose. It also says to try changing the drive letter, which I may try if this doesn't magically disappear by itself...
