New IE window doesnt work after link!
when I click on a link, and a new window opens up, it psysicaly doesnt open up anymore. it is minimised to the taskbar, but when i click on it, nothing happens. i have to right cllick on it then cick maximise. when i minimise it, i cant open it again without right clicking then clickong maximise. it gets VERY annoying. any ideas? IE6SP1. XP Pro SP1 with all updates as of 07.18.2003

My guess would be that the default window size has been set to something absurdly small. You could try this out (if you are comfortable with registry editting):
Make sure that all your Internet Explorer windows are closed before beginning Navigate to HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/Main and delete the key: Window_Placement This should set your window size to the default. |
