Angry no windows xp

My daughters computer suddenly will not boot Windows XP.It will get as far as loading drivers then it will reboot.no matter which way I pick for it to start, safe mode, safe mode with command ,ect it will just keep rebooting.it gets as far as windows\system32\agp 440.sys then stall & reboot.is there any way short of repartitioning to fix this??as mentioned before it was fine one day and dead the next..thanks Dave

Set your BIOS to boot from CD first, boot with your XP CD in and choose the repair option. See if that helps. Also, if you can get into system restore you might try going back to before the trouble started.

That happened to my son. It turned out to be a bunk mobo w/bunk RAM. Two distinct problems. But the problems were intermittent and very hard to diagnose!

if its hanging when you boot from cd rom then you have a hardwair problam its eather cpu, ram, psu, or mother board, or the cable from the mother board to the cd/hard drive can you boot to the bios and set safe defults then go to the cpu setings and note your systom temps and fan speed also if you have 2 sticks or moor of ram remove al but one and test by booting test all the ram one at a time if you cant boot with any of the ram then can you test the ram in anothe computer just to make shore its ok

Can you put the hard drive in another computer? Maybe it went south. If it's farily new and dead, you may be able to RMA.
