password problem

Running WinXP-home with all the "updates" (security and winXP)

The "remember password" box is missing from the "network password" box which automatically appears when I access a web site requring password sign-in.

This feature works fine on my other machine-with the same web sites-so I know its not the web sites rejecting the password remember feature.

Any suggestions?

I set the "Internet options" (security et al.) to "default" (in Internet Explorer)

Found soultion:

searched all files for system---went to network section and checked "automatic" for save passwords.

working fine now!!
