XP Product Key

The first time I got my computer running, it worked perfectly. But since my hard drive containing Windows XP became defective and went down the crapper, I had to buy a new drive and reinstall XP all over again. The second time when it was all up and running, I tried to "activate" Windows. To my surprise, it said that I had exceeded the amount of times I could use the one Product Key that came with the OS. Do I need a new one or what??? I bought my version of Windows XP Pro SP1 from newegg.com. It was OEM by the way.
