Programs Accessing Internet?
My Firewall says these programs are trying to access the Internet even though I'm not doing anything....
The Programs: Generic Host Process for Win32 Services Common Client CC App Messenger Can you give me a little info about these? Should any of them not be accessing the Internet? Thanks! |

messenger can be one of two things.
1) built in software for your network admins to tell you that there is a system problem - not needed by home users and now used by people to send you spam in a pop up window - I'd turn it off myself - there are several threads hereas king just this and how to do it, method below..... 2) or it could be the chat software called microsoft messenger To turn off the first go to admin tools and select services, scroll down to messnger and double click. change startup type to disabled. and apply The other two I can not be certain about so I wil leave it to others.... |
