Cannot get into Dos

I ran a boot CD to get into Dos to run Fdisk. I forgot to format the drive after it was partitioned. I rebooted the computer and now cant get back into Dos.

All I get is an error message " Missing Operating System"

I can get into BIOS and its set to boot from CD.

I reboot and screen reads " Booting from CD- Missing operating system"

I just want to get back into Dos to format the HD, then install the operating system, but I cant even get back into DOS

any ideas???

Thanks,

-Matt-

Um, which OS are you trying to install. You posted in the WinNT/2K/XP section, so I assume you want to install one of these.

All CDs are bootable, so you only need to boot from the OS CD and run setup, there you will be able to partition and format as you like. FDISK and FORMAT are only for Win9x.
