Password / Encrypt admin lockouts
I was wondering if a user account locks a folder with either a Password / compression scheme, or by Encrypting a folder, can the admin (me) get in?

if the folders locked then you have to disabble simple file shairing from folder options vew tab then right click the folder go to properties securty and take control of the folder if the contents are increpted then you cant vew the files it only works for password and compresd folders and file not encrypted

As an admin, couldn't you just change the password on the user account and go in that way?

Thanks for the tips
I'm going to be upgrading my client machine to XP and just want to be prepared. (The Host is already XP -- just converted it from Win 98.2.) I have one relative that likes to mess with settings and the like, which is my motivation for going with XP to begin with! That's why I'm learning about Accounts and Admin and the like. TwoRails |
