small problam

Hi all
I have a small problem with a customer’s computer
It has a gigabyte mobo award bios 1gig ddr ram fx5200 vid card 80gig Seagate hdd lit on cdrw amd xp2400 CPU
atx case with 400wat psu.
win2000 pro clean install. to turn the computer on you hit the on/off switch the bios load and completes the post then stops till you hit the on/off switch aggen then the windows loader starts and it boots up no problem is just having to hit the on/off switch 2 times that’s getting on our nerves.

The system may be trying to boot up before the hard drive has had time to spin up. Go into BIOS and see if you can add a delay to the boot sequence to give the hard drive time to spin up.

thanks for the reply i checked the bios but no options to delay have set quick power on self test to disabbled but still get the problam it allso happens when you reboot the computer from start shutdown restart i evan set first boot to flopy second to cd and last to hdd
