HP Pavilion 540 n with xp .wont start
Every time i get a blue screen with UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
I dont know what that means.The computer doesnt have a rescue disk,it is built on the hard drive. |

You need the Hp Rescue Disk to Repair or Reformat your Hard Drive. Why not contact HP and ask for another copy. They usually send a copy for a fee of course.

I found out how to run the system recovery...I looked through the owners manual...Should of thought of that first.
Thanks for your help though.I just ran the recovery and everything works great now.Just wish i knew what that message means. |
