Install with Re-load

Hi,
My HDD has bit the bullet and gone to Hard Drive heaven.

The thing is ME was pre-installed on HDD when I bought it from store, therefore I dont have the system disk needed to install to a new drive I'm about to purchase. All I got is the reload disk, product key and COA.

Would I have to buy a new OS disk as well? or

Is there any way I could use the reload disk?

Thanks,
Bazza

The "reload" CD should be bootable and you should be able to restore your system with it once you get the replacement hard drive.

Boot up the PC and then go into BIOS. Change the first boot device to the CD-ROM, put the "reload" CD in the drive, Save and Exit the BIOS. The system will reboot and boot to the CD. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Just noticed when I was putting case back together that RAM was dislodged, must have done it removing HDD.

Would this be reason for POST screen not loading?
