Wow, I came home from work today and have been having the exact same error.
Windows states that this shutdown was initiated by the NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
Windows must restart because the remote procedure call service (RCP) terminated unexpectedly.
My daughter was home today but swears she only sent a few resumes out and worked on excel. So is this some sort of virus or what?

I'll say. Three friends all left messages for me. When I called them back all three don't have a firewall (ZoneAlarm will catch nasty attachments), all three don't have their anti-virus setup to update daily, and all three use IE/OE.

It's just amazing what a firewall, updated AV, and not using IE/OE will do for you. Never had a virus....ever.
