Curse of the Super Sized desktop Icons

I use Windows 2000 Home Edition and occasionally I will leave my computer for a while.... when I come back to log on, I find that my whole desktop including my mouse cursor and message prompts are about 2 sizes too big. Rebooting seems to correct the problem temporarily....but after the screensaver pops up on my screen, the problem starts all over again. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what could be causing this problem...

My guess is that this is a third party screensaver. Is the problem still there when you use a windows screensaver? If there are any settings for your screensaver such as screen res, set it to the same as the desktop.

Its a screensaver that I got from someone....It looks like that could be it. Thanx.... Unfortunately it seems that another problem has arisen....I keep getting a message box that says.."svchost.exe has generated errors and will be shut down by windows" sigh...more problems..
