bootable disk from windows xp???

Hi, I am building my first pc and have this question: To get to my bios setup, I am pretty sure I need a system disk/boot disk. I cannot make a system disk from my windows xp if I don't set up my computer and os!! Am I missing something here or can I just use my windows xp disk in the dvd/cd rom drive upon booting, then enable/disable the appropriate bios settings and install my windows xp? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

Mark

you do not need anything to get into the bios,

at the first start-up screen just hit the key that your mother uses to get into bios set-up
usally it is the delete key, but check your motherboard manual for the instructions

Also for installing Windows you don't need a system disk as the CD itself is bootable.

You just boot from the CD and run setup, and anything will be done there.
