Got the worm patch..but having outlook problems
i downloaded the patch to fix the rpc worm, and eveything seems to be working except i cant open outlook and my mcaffee virus isnt running anymore.
the error i get when i open outlook is "This applicaiton must be installed to run.Please run setup from the location you originally installed it from. |

When you say you got the patch, are you talking about the Windows Update, or the worm removal tool?

Both. I installed serice pack4 and the worm removal tool.

You may have to reinstall Outlook and an antivirus program. I haven't heard many good things about McAfee anyway.

I cant find where to find the install for Outllook. any ideas what the name of the install file is so i can do a more accurate search for it

Is it Outlook or Outlook Express? Outlook generally comes with M$ Office. OE comes with Internet Explorer.
