Network problem Need help please

I have a problem with my network. Its just a home network between two computers. Its about file sharing. I have windows 2000, the other computer has XP. Whenever we try to access eachothers shared files, an error will pop up saying:
__________________________________________________

\\overlord is not accessible.

Logon failure: the user has not been requested logon type at this computer.
__________________________________________________

btw overlord is the name of the computer im trying to access

We can play games together just fine.

And another thing, as long as i dont log into my computer, when i boot it up, overlord can access my files

Any help will be great thanks

Do you have the usernames setup in each computer. For example, if you have USER_A trying to access //overlord, you must have a USER_A account setup in //overlord for it to work and vice versa.

ive made the login names administrators of each computer on each computer. you need the login names correct? not the computer name? Ive done that and the problem still persists

Thank you for your help
