Explorer.exe Not Responding... End Now --Help!!!

Win i shutdown or logoff from my computer, i box appear in the middle
of screen say ( End Program -explorer.exe) for about 10 seconds after
that, In the some box say ( exploer.exe not responding) then the
computer ask me if i what to end now, i click on end now, then
computer shoutdown or log off.

Any ideas?

Note-- Its NOT iexplorer.exe its explorer.exe

what o/s are you runing and what programs are runing in the systom tray

programs in the system tray? what do you mean?

He means the programs in the bottom right of the bar where Start is.

system tray progs are the ones by the clock like your anti virus and other programs
first have you run the windows update for the blaster worm
next do a full virus scan then post back with a list of runing programs and any thing you changed like update driver or add new program or hardware

volume, L.A.N., sound effect, new updates that are ready to install

ok first install the updates. then go to start controll panall sounds and audo devices and on the sounds tab scroll down the list till you find the entry for shutdown windows and select no sound hit apply then try a shutdown and post back
