defrag windows xp registry
hi all
any one know of a good free program to defrag the windows xp registry ?

I think Perfectdisk by Raxco will do that and the swapfile too.
Get it free as a demo from Raxco. Google it. If you want a utility that will defrag everything, has a reg cleaner, and an av too, look at FixIt Utilities by OnTrack. My fav. Think you gatta buy it tho. |

thanks i will try Perfectdisk as for fixit utilities i have it but have had problams with it and ended up formating and reinstaling windows

Well, certain things done with fixit can leave you with a disabled box, such as using file cleaner, and I never use that, just the reg cleaner and the disk fixer and the av. What ver of fixit do you have? There was a release for xp, by the way, older ones won't work well if at all.
