download problems
little help here i have been having this problem since sunday every time i try to do a download a second blank window appears and then nothing happens the hr glass just sits there this has never happened before i am running xp pro.Normally a second window appears and goes right away then a download window appears. so how do i fix this

Does this happen only with certain sites or all sites? What browser are you using?

actually this a friends puter lets say at this point it's all sites and the browses thing could you give me the and's and if's that your getting at |

I'm not getting at anything yet. In order to figure out the problem, it is helpful to know if your friend is using Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, or some other browser.
