Question Another dual boot wannabe

Ok, I've read all the old threads on how to do this, but I'm at a point where my configuration doesn't match any of the instructions. Guess I'll defer to the experts. Here's the deal. I want to dual boot with XP Home and 98se. I have 2 - 80Gb hdd's, one running XP very smoothly and all partitions set to NTFS. The second drive has a 10Gb primary partition set to FAT32 and active(There's no data on this hdd). All other logical partitions on this hdd are set to NTFS. I used Partition Magic to set the partitions on both drives and removed it from the system. I have Boot Magic on disk but not loaded yet. I'm thinking of disconnecting my XP hdd and connecting the other drive to the Master end of the cable. Next, install 98se. Then set bios for CD drive first and use the XP cd as a boot disk. This will allow setting of boot.ini file. Since I have 2 sticks of 512Mb RAM, I suspect I should remove one until after I can run the MS fix to run 1Gb of RAM. Believe I can then power off, reinstall the extra ram, reinstall the other hdd with both set to CS (XP would be reinstalled on the Master position, 98se on the Slave position). Then what? Will it offer me either os on start up or do I need to install Boot Magic on the 98se partition? Which drive should be listed first in bios (xp I would guess)? Everything I've read says to start with 98, but I don't want to start over. Wha-da-ya-think? Is is doable?

Pull the XP drive, install the other as master.
Install Win98.
Leave your RAM in, you can change the VCACHE setting later if needed.
Remount the XP drive as master, putting the other as slave or secondary master.
Boot to XP.
Install BootMagic in XP.
Configure it for dual boot.
It's easier to do than it is to explain.

Thanx Jim, I plan to give it a try this weekend. I'll post back if any problems.
