xp stop error message
I am about to try to re-install winxp pro. The last time the install went up to 83 per cent and stopped with this stop error message followed by a whole bunch of numbers.
I then reformatted and installed win98se without a problem. Now i am in a situation where i need xp on my machine. Can anyone shed some light as to why a stop error message appears during install. Here are my hardware specs. asus cusl 2 ati radeon 7200 256 meg sdram sound blaster live value pentium 3 800 eb Thanks |

It could be a driver error or a bad piece of hardware. If you can write down the stop error message, that would shed some light on it.
