Unhappy Format Windows Me?

Hi guys i'm having some difficulty formatting Windows Me. I basically want to wipe my harddrive and re-install and start from scratch. Having loaded the Windows Me Installation Disk I was prompted to either save my current operating system, or delete it. I chose to delete it, and went through the installation process, but when everything was complete my old files were still there.

I basically need a dummys step by step guide on formatting Windows Me

Please help

Cheers

Guys, I have now got to the "routine check" and it has found damaged files and just about every one on Disk C is corrupt!

Any ideas?

Cheers

After it froze and restarted im now getting a prompt saying "Windows setup requires so many bytes available on your C drive".

Please help as I need both Windows ME computers up and running tomorrow as they are about to be sold on.

Cheers

Cool

Download a WIN98 bootdisk from www.bootdisk.com Boot with that and format the drive. Then load ME.
