Cant find auto run

Hi guys. My friend has windows me and has been working just fine, but last night she went to my computer and clicked on the "C" drive icon and a message comes up saying it cant find the auto-run. so she isnt able to access her "C" drive that way.
What can she do to fix this problem. she has tried restore and as usual that doesn't work.

nh-what happens if she right clicks on the icon for the "C" drive, and clicks either "open" or "explore" ?

Dont know the answer to that Dan but will ask her later on today and report back.
Just been in touch with her and she tells me that it works fine if she right cliks and chooses either of those options.
