When I open up the windowsXP task manager under processes tab, I see a lot of unknown processes consuming a lot of memory of my windows.About 88% physical memory was used! But I did know some processes are vital to run...
Is there a program that let me end those unwanted processes in XP to save memory?TIA. |

you do not need to be concerned with that,
xp does a great job managing the memeroy and other programs, you will get use of all the mem you need as it is called for, its not a problem like it was in w98 |

Oh then I see.....It's because some of PC games will choke for some reason running XP.I guess the solution is not freeing but to add mem to my system..Thanks!

i see in your sig you have 256mb of ram if you add another 256 or moor then you will get a good improvment as for the games thet choke if you can post a list and the type of error you are geting as it may not be a ram problam but a driver or direct x fault

Go here to find out what the processes do and which ones you can safely remove or disable. No point having services running that you don't need.
