Unhappy End program...save memory.

When I open up the windowsXP task manager under processes tab, I see a lot of unknown processes consuming a lot of memory of my windows.About 88% physical memory was used! But I did know some processes are vital to run...
Is there a program that let me end those unwanted processes in XP to save memory?TIA.

you do not need to be concerned with that,
xp does a great job managing the memeroy and other programs, you will get use of all the mem you need as it is called for, its not a problem like it was in w98

i see in your sig you have 256mb of ram if you add another 256 or moor then you will get a good improvment as for the games thet choke if you can post a list and the type of error you are geting as it may not be a ram problam but a driver or direct x fault

Go here to find out what the processes do and which ones you can safely remove or disable. No point having services running that you don't need.

Also, you should use Task Manager to close all third-party background programs before playing single player games.
