ok, here are the specs for the machine:
The laptop is running XP Pro and has an integrated INTEL 10/100 NIC card. It was also running McAfee Firewall and virus shield, which I disabled to see if that would help. Then i found out the owners used to have Comcast, and had the comcast software on their machine. I disabled it, but i still couldn't get it to hook up to the net. I checked it with my computer, which ran just fine on the network. I also checked their machine on my network, no luck Anyone have any clue as to what to do? |
