There are 2 reg settings that I am aware of that may be causing the disconnect. Both have to be done at the server.
I`ve never used this one but run regedit and go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters] create a DWORD value called DISK and set the value to 15. If there is already a DWORD value called DISK then make the adjustment. This one I did use and it worked with a similar situation. Run regedit, go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters] modify the DWORD value autodisconnect to ffffffff. (hexidecimal) This gives it 4294967295 minutes until it autodisconnects. (basically disabling it) Ifthe value does not exist create it. It worked great for me. |

I`ve posted these reg hacks as they *might* be what is causing the problem. The setting I used solved a very similar problem I encountered.
In my experience, and I`ve been in and out of the registry quite a bit, either of these should not cause any problems as far as your server is concerned. |
