Dual Boot discovery

Now that I finally got my XP/98se dual boot working the way I wanted, I made a nice little discovery. The XP Disk Defrag tool can be used on the 98 partition. You can see the 98 disk in XP because 98 is on a Fat32 partition and conversly you cannot see any of the NTFS partitions using 98. I've always hated the 98 defrag tool cuz it is so slow. Just on a hunch, I tried to access the 98 partition with the XP defrag and it worked great! Faster and much more thorough it appears.

Yup. XP will be able to access the FAT 32 partition, but 98SE wont be able to see the NTFS partition :-P.

That is if you want to see both drives in both OS's, you make them both FAT32.

Glad to see everything is working!
