setup.dll problems

i have a hd with win98 on it , it had the sircam worm but i cleaned it up using symantec tool for removing it , i do not know if this is related but i tried to update the drivers for the sound card(ess1868)but it says i cannot because the _setup.dll and the _ires.dll are missing from the sys1cab files that are located in setup.exe now whether one has to do with the other i have no idea , hence the reason to come here and look for answers from the folks here what i would like to know is if i can fix it or what i do not have any win98s cd or anything , but i have win98 on my pc that has a cd burner on , question .....is there a way to get the files from the good pc to the one having problem using cd burner and ability to copy needed files from one pc to the other i am a learning rookie so please bear that in mind but i think i can do it given enough instruction and help

can you borrow a win98 cd from a frend or better copy one you can keep as you have a licence for it on your computer then just do a over the top install of windows to fix your problams if you dont know your licence no download aida32 from http://www.aida32.hu/aida-download.php?bit=32

me again , it seems that this was my problem , the disk i put the files on was corrupt and was missing files , so i will try something else ............
