Question Defrag acting wierd.......

I just put a new video card and some RAM in a Gateway for a friend of mine and thought I would run Defrag for him since I cleaned out a bunch of junk also. Defrag gets to about 50% or a little more and starts moving chunks to the end of the drive to rewrite back later but doesnt go past 62%! It just resets again! I have turned off everything but explorer so there shouldnt be anything running in the background. Any clue's???
Thanks in Advance. the Blacksheep #22

NEVERMIND, IT FINALLY FINISHED JUST NOW WHEN I WASNT LOOKING. GO FIGURE................
