1800 pci hardware interrupt error
hi:
windows machine that has had it drive wiped clean however there seems to be no bios as we.. cannot boot a win98 floppy, or enter setup, but get the error 1800pci/pnp error, no hardware interrupt available. I believe this refers to no bios or operating system. how do you put a bios back onto a machine. thanks |

After post are you getting one beep?
Recheck that your floppy is connected to the end of the cable and make sure your HDD is configured properly and that the color coded ribbon (blue or red) is aligned with the #1 pin of the IDE connector. |

1800 pci error
hi again:
pentium two ibm machine, no name on motherboard that I can see, so I am assuming it is a ibm board. second error message recieved after the 1800 pci/ pnp interrupt error message 1962, no operating system found however cannot boot to the floppy to start the install because of the above error. removed the battery for 30 minutes and unplugged everything however the error appears again. any other suggestions would be appreciated. thanks |
