cab files

Good morning folks..I have a question about putting the cab file on the hard drive usind XP.(so we don't have to keep inserting the disk).I know how to do it with win 98se..Is it similar with XP?------Can someone diagram the procedure if different.TIA..GaryD..

I have yet to see an instance of needing the XP disk after an install (except for sometimes needing it for a repair).

I believe all of the cabs are installed in the system, so you don't really need to worry about it

Thanks force_flow2002 I kinda thought that also,but this guy I know has been having trouble with his puter,,Think maybe its a pirated copy he has so he will just have to deal with it on his own I wont be a part of that..Thanks,GaryD..
