WIN.XP Pro - ScreenSaver P/W

I just did a "fresh" install of Win XP Pro...but for some reason I can't set the screen saver to be P/W protected. When I go into settings>display>screen saver...I am not presented with that option.

How can I add it?

*************************************************

Now this might sound like a really stupid question...but I keep getting an error message that IE6 was not properly set up...would I lose all my settings, updated drivers and so on if I reinstall windows?

Putting in CD and installing windows on top of the one that is already installed?

Please advise!!

Thanks!

Instead of reinstalling Windows, have you tried doing a repair of IE? Go to the "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel, find IE, and choose to do a repair.

Well, sort of...

When I go:

control panel > add/remove programs > click on IE

only gives the options of change/remove

Click on "Change/Remove", and then there should be a repair option.
