I am trying to build a new pc, a couple of them really, to keep me busy in my spare time. My question is how to I get or make a windows xp system boot disk for booting a pc for the first time, with all the current drivers? I only run windows xp so far... thanks for any info.....Terry

Set your BIOS to boot from CD and boot from the XP CD... no need for a boot disk.

The XP CD is designed to boot, and start the installation. It's by far easier than the old (95/98) way of using a startup diskette etc.
Most mfg bios' are now set to boot from CD first as default. You can easily check first though. |
