Maxamizing Windows

Say I open up Internet Explorer, is there a way I can make it to where the programs I open always open maxamized? I've looked on here but can't seem to figure it out lol.

Right click on the program icon and choose Properties. Click on the Shortcut tab and look in the Run box. Click on the downward arrow and select Maximized, click Apply and then Okay.
