System Restore
The system is as in my sig below. I accidentally had RedHat 8 rewrite my boot sector for the Seagate 20 GB drive, which contained a lot of data I would rather not lose. I then decided what the heck and installed Mandrake 9.
BTW, the Seagate is a slave. I have the Samsung mastered as IDE0. What I'd like to know is, is there any chance that a Suystem restore to a previous date enable me to recover all that data I lost? Or will I have to download it all again? Incidentally, how do I get the system to lose Linux and boot to WinXP by default? All help and suggestions welcome. Many thanks in advance. NPP
