Network icon problem

G'day all, I have a little problem here, the icon that displays after I dialup to the internet wont close after I d/c, and I cannot use the same network connection too login again, I had to copy the connection and use the copy to dial out, it may get fixed if I reboot, but I dont want too reboot

I cant delete the old connection under 'network connections' as it tells me 'You cannot delete a connection while it is busy connecting, Please disconnect or close the login property page and try again.'

Yet the connection is not active, but shows up as connected and wont close

Any idea's?

Regards.

Could be a hardware problem with the modem.
Try uninstalling the modem and it's drivers again, see if that sorts it for you.
